Calabarzon- Last June 7-15, 2023, the Regional Assessment Team (RAT) of DILG IV-A conducted document review, interview, and onsite inspection in the provinces of Laguna Quezon, Batangas, Rizal, Cavite, as well as the City Government of Lucena relative to the 2023 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) performance indicators provided in RA 11292 and DILG MC 2023-086.
Members of the RAT of Calabarzon include all Provincial and City Directors, LGMED Chief, DRR-CCA Focal Person, and representatives from Tanggol Kalikasan and Batangas State University. SGLG adheres the performance criteria of the following areas: good financial housekeeping, disaster preparedness, social protection for the basic sector, business-friendliness and competitiveness, environmental management, law and order and public safety.
The DILG will deliberate the evaluation results per LGU for each region meanwhile, validation and evaluation of SGLG performance on a national level is being planned by the same agency.
