A rehabilitation operation under the Tanggol Kalikasan Inc. (TK) initiative was successfully conducted in the Agta community of Barangay Cozo, Casiguran, providing assistance to families affected by Typhoon Uwan.
Around 25 Agta households received house rehabilitation materials to help repair damaged shelters, along with clothing for children to address immediate needs during recovery. The typhoon caused significant damage across parts of Aurora Province, leaving many indigenous families vulnerable.
The initiative aimed not only to restore homes but also to reinforce safety, dignity, and stability within the community. Beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the timely support, which will greatly assist them in rebuilding their lives.
Through activities like this, TK continues its commitment to disaster response, environmental advocacy, and solidarity with vulnerable communities—ensuring that no family is left behind in times of crisis.
