Tanggol Kalikasan, Inc., through the SCENERI Project, conducted the Presentation of the Enhanced Manual of Operations (MOO) for Validation on June 30, 2026 at the SB Session Hall, Polillo, Quezon.
The activity was attended by 27 participants composed of members of the Polillo Local Conservation Area Management Council (POLCAmC) and partner stakeholders. The enhanced Manual of Operations was presented for final review and validation to ensure that the comments and recommendations gathered during previous consultations were properly incorporated.
After the review, the Council formally validated and approved the Enhanced Manual of Operations, expressing their commitment to adopt and implement it as the official guiding document for the management of the Polillo Local Conservation Area.
The activity also included a discussion of the Year 2 Work Plan of the SCENERI Project, particularly the upcoming community nursery establishment for livelihood. The meeting provided council members with a clearer understanding of their roles in supporting the implementation of the project’s future activities. The successful validation of the Manual marks an important step toward strengthening the conservation governance and management of the Polillo Local Conservation Areas.
