Wildlife Philippines

Wildlife Philippines talks about ecosystems, animal and plant species, and environmental issues in different parts of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. It is a collaborative podcast channel of more than 20 Institutes of Environmental Governance which aimed to provide educational trivia and important facts about biodiversity conservation and wildlife protection, an excellent learning aid for teachers and students. Wildlife Philippines is an initiative under the Partnership for Biodiversity Conservation 3 of Tanggol Kalikasan and is being supported by the USAID and the US Department of the Interior, International Technical Assistance Program.

Mt. Matalingahan of Palawan Island

Palawan Island is a popular destination not only for beach lovers but also for mountaineers. Its highest peak is Mt. Matalingahan which is situated in the southern part of the Island. The mountain is the center of Mt. Matalingahan Protected Landscape, a major habitat of Palawan's rich biodiversity of flora and fauna that are endemic to the Philippines. For this episode, Palawan State University (PalSU) shares the beauty of their province through the ecosystem of Mt. Matalingahan and its importance to the local communities and the whole country.
