Endemic to the island, Palawan Peacock-Pheasant is smaller to others of the same species but has the most interesting color combinations than them. It lives mostly in coastal lowland and deep forests and is considered a Vulnerable species due to its declining habitat. Not only that, it is also subjected to hunting as a pet and for trade. An expert on birds was invited by Palawan State University (PalSU) to join them in this episode and discuss about this peacock-pheasant and the pertinent laws that protects them.
This episode is produced by the Institute of Environmental Governance in PalSU; Written and directed by: Rizaldy Bustamante, Kristel Dorado, Jade Remo, Andrei Sta. Teresa, Noell Soliva, Czarina Sulpico, Marie Chris Palma, Mark Joseph Buncag, and Imelda Lactuan.
