To celebrate Earth Day, Bulacan State University (BulSU) led the second Institute of Environmental Governance (IEG) Digital Caravan with a theme “Restore our earth from uplands to wetlands” on April 22 from one o’clock to 5 o’clock in the afternoon which was participated by more than a thousand teachers and students on Zoom and Facebook Live.

The first Institutes of Environmental Governance (IEGs) Digital Caravan 2021 with the theme “Raising local awareness about the vital role of wetlands for people” was hosted by Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) on February 22 via Zoom and Facebook Live.

General Nakar, Quezon - 20 families of the Dumagat Tribe were the beneficiaries during the relief operations conducted by Tanggol Kalikasan Inc., on December 7, 2020. Dumagat Community, which has been a partner community of Tanggol Kalikasan since 2006, were among those who suffered and whose homes were damaged due to the onslaught of typhoon Ulysses.

100 families of fishermen located in Cabusap, Camarines Norte were given boat repair kits which includes marine plywood, copper nails and epoxy to rebuild their fishing boats on December 4 and 5, during Mini Ahon's First Wave conducted by Tanggol Kalikasan Inc., in partnership with Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR). Tanggol Kalikasan Inc.'s Mini Ahon initiative aims to provide basic materials for the repairs of fishing boats which were damaged during the recent typhoon Ulyssess to help fishers get back on their feet and return to their livelihoods.

Food security advocacy group Tugon Kabuhayan today (February 8, 2021) welcomed the creation of a Subtask Group (STG) on Aquaculture and Fisheries by the IATF Task Group on Food Security chaired by Agriculture Secretary William Dar. The special panel was created to boost aquaculture production by streamlining processes necessary to identify potential sites and private sector investments.

More than twenty higher education institutions (HEIs) are supporting the launch of the Wildlife Philippines Podcast on November 6, 2020 by the Partnership for Biodiversity Conservation (PBC).

This biodiversity conservation partnership is an initiative of the U.S. Government through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the United States Department of the Interior – Technical Assistance Program (US DOI-ITAP).

The Quezon for Environment conducted its second Quezon Ecological Summit via Zoom on October 31, 2020. It was attended by parish councils, students, and civil society organizations that have been forwarding environmental campaigns in Quezon Province for years.
